with Janice Gregg
Janice will
be showing that “Healthy Eating Tastes Good” in her demonstration. Using
in-season or inexpensive vegetables and fruits, as well as whole grains,
Janice will show how to make dishes that not only look good but taste
good as well. Come prepared to learn, ask questions and taste! She will
show how to incorporate herbs and seasonings in these dishes to increase
flavor and decrease sodium as well.

Janice
Gregg is the Extension faculty in Family and Community Health at the
Oregon State University Extension Service in Linn and Benton Counties.
She manages the Family Nutrition Education Program reaching low income
families as well as teaching many classes on food preservation and
safety. You will see her once a month at the Albany and Corvallis
Farmers’ Markets demonstrating how to use in season fruits and vegetables
in family meals.
