Yoga for Seniors with
Kathy Brisker
Yoga involves non-competitive, mindful movement that encourages people to
start where they are. This class for seniors will use straps, chairs and
walls to allow poses to be modified to accommodate the needs of
participants. Yoga encourages increased range of motion in shoulders,
hips and spine. These exercises also improve strength, balance and the
ability to relax. You will learn some ideas about optimal posture to
incorporate into everyday life.
