Marshall Wilde, Linn County District Attorneys
Office
Marshall (Marty) Wilde
is a Deputy District Attorney with the Office of Linn County District
Attorney Jason Carlile. Among other duties, he serves as the coordinator
for elder abuse cases in the office. Mr. Wilde has been a prosecutor in
Texas, Oregon and the military system for over 10 years. He recently
obtained a conviction in an 8 day financial fraud jury trial in Linn
County Circuit Court. Mr. Wilde is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Oregon
Air National Guard and a veteran of Bosnia and the Middle East with 14
years of service.

Dr. Jonathan Evans, DO, Corvallis Clinic
Dr. Evans joined The Corvallis Clinic Orthopedics
Department August 2007. Dr. Evans, an orthopedic surgeon specializes in
joint replacement -- knee and hip joint replacement --- and arthroscopy
âo repair sport and other injuries to knees and shoulders. He also works
on trauma cases, such as fractures, that come through the ER.

Dr. Matthew Lindberg, MD, Samaritan Health
Services
Dr. Matthew Lindberg joined the Samaritan Heart &
Vascular Institute in 2007 from the University of California at Davis.
Dr. Lindberg is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. His
previous education includes a medical degree from the University of
Washington and an internal medicine residency at Oregon Health & Science
University. Dr. Lindberg also earned bachelor’s degrees in history and
biology from Stanford University. Dr. Lindberg is board certified in
internal medicine, cardiology, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac computed
axial tomography. Outside of medicine, Dr. Lindberg has interests in
outdoor activities and wine production. He is married with one son, a cat
and a pug dog.

Scott Bond, Director of Senior
and Disability Services
Scott received his Masters in Social Work from the University of
Washington after completing his Bachelors in Psychology from Evergreen
State College. Currently, he is the Director of Senior and
Disability Services, serving citizens of Linn, Benton, and Lincoln
counties.
In addition to his role as director, Scott chairs the
Oregon Association of Area Agencies on Aging and Disabilities ( O4AD),
putting his 28 years of leadership experience in the fields of
Mental Health, Disability Programs and Aging to good use.
He is also a member of the National Association of Area Agencies on
Aging (n4a) Board of Directors representing Region X.

Dr. William Muth, MD, Samaritan Health
Services
William Muth, MD, earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from West
Virginia University and a medical degree from Marshall University, also
in West Virginia. He completed an internship and residency training at
the University of Wisconsin, Madison in internal medicine and a
fellowship in infectious disease at the University of Arizona, Tucson.
Dr. Muth is board certified in infectious diseases. He joins Samaritan
from practice at Monson Medical Center in Traverse City, Mich.
In his free time, Dr. Muth enjoys geocaching, hiking, camping,
mountain scrambling and family activities.

Seishiro Hokozono Lac, Heartspring Wellness Center
Seishiro is certified as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine by the
National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
and is licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners.
He received a bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in chemistry
from Carroll College in Helena, Mont., and a master’s degree in Oriental
medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, N.M. Seishiro
trained for six months at the TJM Aizawa Clinic in Tokyo, Japan, studying
Japanese meridian-style acupuncture. He is trained to perform soothing
acupuncture to those who are sensitive. He speaks English, Japanese and
Spanish.
Seishiro specializes in using a combination of two Japanese
acupuncture styles, Traditional Japanese Meridian style and Abdominal
Clearing style; moxibustion; and Chinese herbs and dietary counseling to
produce the balance each patient needs to heal.
"I would like to be considered not as a healer, but as a
facilitator of the body's natural healing processes. Rather than
healing directly, I consider my job to be releasing and developing the
healing power inherent in each and every patient."

Dr. Scott Safford, Heartspring Wellness Center
Dr. Safford works with adults and older adults,
utilizing an integrative approach to therapy that emphasizes cognitive
behavioral and interpersonal processing techniques. He treats and
consults on a broad range of psychological disorders and mental health
issues related to depression, anxiety, grief and loss, chronic pain or
health conditions, life transitions, caring for ailing family members,
cognitive impairment and dementia.

Tom Powell and Greg Slowik, Powell Construction
Tom Powell, Owner of
Powell Construction, is a lifetime resident of Corvallis and an expert in
the field of remodeling and construction. He started in the field of
construction working for area contractors in the 70s. After receiving a
degree from Oregon State University in 1986 he worked as a designer and
project manager for a large civil engineering firm in California. Tom
and his wife Heidi then took a year to travel the world before returning
to Corvallis to open Powell Construction in 1990. The firm specializes
in adapting living environments to lifestyles and has won a number of
national remodeling awards for kitchen and bath design.
Greg Slowik, a designer
for Powell Construction, has 10 years of experience in residential design
and construction, from bath and kitchen remodels to full house
renovations. He has worked with budgets large and small and in various
styles. Greg received his undergraduate degree from the University of
Pittsburgh and has a Masters degree in Architecture from the Southern
California Institute of Architecture in Los Angeles.

Lindy Lear-Konold, NP, Heartspring Wellness Center
Lindy is an adult nurse practitioner with twenty years of experience
in primary care. She received a bachelor’s degree in life sciences from
the University of Nebraska and a master’s degree in nursing from
the University of Washington. She is certified in mind-body
medicine by the Center for Mind-Body Medicine, and has additional
training in functional medicine from the Institute for Functional
Medicine. Lindy utilizes conventional therapies along with meditation,
autogenetic and biofeedback techniques as well as nutrition therapy with
a functional medicine approach. Lindy also has a special interest and
extensive training in diabetes care.
