Doors to the 2010 event will open at 9:00 am and close at
3:00 pm on Saturday, May 8th. Participating in this event is simple and
easy for our visitors!
The Linn County Fair & Expo center is easily
accessible to all, featuring free parking, and stair-free access to the
complex.
Our activities will be located in the main events
center, with the speaker presentations taking place in a nearby
conference rooms. Read below for details about featured activities!

Health Screenings
Samaritan Health Services
will be offering a free bone density screening at their Diagnostic Imaging booth.
Cheryl Blackman from the
Costco
Hearing Aid Center will be providing hearing
pre-screenings at the Costco exhibitor booth.
Parish Nurses will be
doing Blood pressure checks at the Parish Nurse exhibitor booth.
Samaritan Albany General Hospital Physical
Rehabilitation will be evaluating fall risk and promoting
fall prevention techniques at the SAGH Physical Rehabilitation exhibitor
booth.
Demonstrations
Our activities will be located in the main events

Zumba,
Pilates,
and more!
Chair Massages
Local Licensed Massage Therapists (LMT) will be providing free chair massages and information about
the benefits of massage throughout the day.
Prescription Interaction Consultations
Bring in a list of your medications, or
the medications themselves, and speak with a knowledgeable pharmacist to
discover any interactions or problems with the combination you are
taking. This will take place at the Costco exhibitor booth
from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Master Gardener Demonstration Garden
The OSU Master Gardeners operate a
demonstration
garden year-round that is located just behind the main events center, where our Expo
will take place. Many dedicated Master Gardener volunteers will be
providing information on gardening-related topics throughout the day in
the garden.
Speaker Presentations
Our speaker schedule is looking promising this year with a
wide variety of topics, highly interesting subject matter, and well
respected and qualified speakers! We will have
Ten presentations
with
topics ranging from Universal Design to Acupuncture. Join us for
a great, informative day packed full of fun and information!
